Gluten free podcast

*cue music 30 seconds K: Hello, everybody and welcome to the first episode of Kirsten’s conversations im Kirsten and today we have a special guest
N: I everyone im the special guest and my name is Noah Tyler
K: Today’s podcast is going to be on Gluten free food. We are going to go over how a gluten free person (me) and a non gluten free person (N says me) views food. We will also be discussing gluten free recipes.
K: I find gluten free food disgusting But I need to eat it to survive. However I have found some very good gluten free recipes. My favorite being my moms cheeseburger chowder. *cue sound effect* The recipe being Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef browned and drained 2 russet potatoes diced 2 carrots, peeled and diced 3 celery stalks peeled and diced 1 white onion diced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 3 cups chicken broth 1 lb. Velveeta cheese (add towards the end of the cooking time) 8 oz. cream cheese (add towards the end of the cooking time) Add the cooked beef, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt, pepper, basil, garlic powder and chicken broth. DO NOT add Velveeta cheese and cream cheese yet. Cover and cook and LOW for 7 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time. Cut the Velveta cheese and cream cheese into cubes, add to the soup in the slow cooker. Stir to get the cubes into the soup (they won’t melt straight away). Cover and cook for one more hour on low. Stir until the cheeses are blended into the soup. Serve and enjoy!
 N: that sounds delicious
K: I also have survival tips for being gluten free on a college campus, that is to try new things. Before eating on campus I never was a fan of red meat but now I love chicken. My favorite gluten free friendly eateries on campus are the Ely Harvest gluten free melts, The marketplace’s breakfast bagels ( of course with a gluten free bagel) and the naturally gluten free rice bowls. What are your favorite eateries on campus?
N: The marketplaces breakfast sandwiches are really good! Another great gluten free recipe we like to make is our Buffalo chicken dip!
K: yes! I love the Buffalo chicken dip, all you need is cream cheese. We used the whole thing, half a bag of shredded cheese. We also bought a rotisserie chicken, pulled it apart and a few droppings of Frank’s red hot sauce, I believe we put a little ranch in there too. N:(yeah we did). The recipe was trial by error but it was the best dip I’ve ever had.
 N: It was great!
K: Thank you guys for tuning into Kirsten’s conversations next week we will be talking about my top favorite movies and why!
 N&K: goodbye!
